Signed Giclée prints

I’m selling some super limited signed and numbered Giclée prints. These prints aren’t available anywhere else in any other format, and once I reach number 50 they will never be sold again. They were both drawn in pencil and then scanned and digitally coloured, and are available in A3. They’re $80 Australian plus postage. Email me to order.

Game of Kings

I’m very lucky to be involved in a massive collaboration over at RedBubble called the Game of Kings. The original Game of Kings involved the creation of 32 individual characters based off the pieces on a chessboard. I can’t say too much about what the next round will bring, but it’s quite exciting. If you’re on RedBubble it’s well worth following that account for the latest news.

Just a quick update on the signed prints I’m planning. I’ve sent off a couple of files to get test prints from a local place. Assuming the colours all look right and everything is happy, I’ll be able to reveal what work will be available for a limited (50 prints) run, as well as costs and the like.

In the meantime, here’s a little teaser..

As I’m continuing to populate the tees and prints sections of this site, I’m hoping to add some photos of the designs in the wild. If you own one of my designs as a tee, sticker, hoodie, card, print, whatever, please take a photo and send it to me. Then I can add your pic to the page, and people can revel in your awesomeness whenever they see it. Much like these people.

Limited edition signed art prints

I’m going to be producing a very limited run of one of my illustrations. If you would like to be told when it’s up for sale, send me an email to let me know.

I am intrigued

The plan is to make 50 giclee prints of the illustration, and each will be signed and numbered. This print will not be sold in any other format anywhere else in the world. If it does well, I will do future limited runs of other prints, but never again with this one.

It’s all going to come down to the print and the cost

New site design

Here it is, a sexy new suit for my website. Its ready to head out on the town to show off it’s new duds in a night of frivolity and heavy drinking. Let me explain the thinking behind this.

When I first put together my site, I was all about simplicity – I just wanted a place where I could post my work, get feedback from friends, and just keep myself motivated. As such the design was simple (ie. crap) and the portfolio mixed in with other blogging.

I’ve had a couple of years of that, and now my motivations have changed.

It’s time to look a little more professional. I want a site that I can use to promote my tees and prints primarily.. something where people who perhaps aren’t on redbubble or don’t want to get involved in that community can see my stuff, comment, and maybe buy a tee or two. I need that to be permanent and sit apart from the blog.

I also want the freedom to be able to post about things other than my latest sketch. I come across a lot of fabulous art, illustration and general inspiration out there on the internet, so now I will use the blog section for that as much as for my own work. I hope my fellow illustrators might hop on here and tell me about their latest work, or art they’ve seen recently. Maybe I’ll do the occasional feature artist too.

So there you have it. I hope you like the design, at very least I hope you like it more than the old one.
