Heisenberg

This week’s OzComics challenge was Breaking Bad, and it got me thinking about a new tee/iPhone case design. Here we have it, in a similar style to my Flight of the Conchords tee.

I hope you like it!

Manly-Man

Finally, a new tee design! This is Manly-Man, the Manliest Man in the World. Buy it as a tee (or iPhone case) over at RedBubble and while you’re there, check out this more subtle expression of masculinity.

The Bear

You have to look at these amazing paintings by Becky and Ryan that detail the bond between a first time father and his son. Speaking as a new dad, and a slightly-less-new-but-still-new dad, these really spoke to me.

Please go have a look..

Win an iPhone case

The possibility of getting something for free finally motivated me to get off my arse and iphone casify a bunch of my designs over lunch today. Turned out it’s actually a pretty simple process.

If you’re on twitter I hope you’ll try to win some stuff, and otherwise I hope you’ll have a bit of a look at my cases and tell me what you think. There’s some work on redbubble that isn’t available on Society6, although if you’d like it as a iphone or laptop skin let me know and I’ll put it up there as well.

Aaron Diaz’s Justice League

I’ve blogged before about Aaron Diaz, creator of Dresden Codak. Comics Alliance have this great article about his reimagining of the Justice League.. what I like most is the inbuilt conflict with the powers and characters, rather than having to manufacture said conflict with external events. You can tell Diaz is all about longer story arcs and character development, something DC would do well to pay attention to.

Check out the designs and read the back stories here.
